What is the registration process ?

What is the SIPC protection and additional coverage on my account?

Up to 25 million dollars per account. $ 500,000 with SIPC of which $100,000 per separate customer is for cash and $ 400,000 per separate customer in securities. Wedbush Morgan & Penson Financial Services maintains and excess SIPC policy covering securities in the amount of $24,500,000.

 

What are some of the types of investment products offered by Globalink?

What is my business relationship with Globalink?

Under our Broker Agreement, you will be an Independent Contractor for purposes of compensation. If you are not a Registered Principal, you will be assigned to a Principal who is responsible for your securities activity supervision.

 

May I use my title and my company name and identify my place of business?

Yes, in addition the NASD requires disclosure of the broker/dealer. All business cards and letterhead must include the disclosure “Securities transactions offered through Globalink Securities, Inc." along with the Globalink main address and phone number. Our Compliance Department must approve all advertisements sales literature, including business cards and letterhead prior to use. . This disclosure will vary depending on your office set-up. There are also various SIPC disclosure requirements. The placement of any signs in a branch office must be discussed with our compliance department, as well. Unless you are a Registered Principal with Globalink operating an OSJ Branch Office, your business cards and letterhead must contain the address and telephone number of the Branch Office to which you are assigned.

 

Does Globalink provide medical and life insurance?

No, but life, health, and accidental death policies may be obtained through several affinity groups, including the NASD.

What is your office hours?

Our office hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. EST). However you can enter your trades into our Internet Trading Program, 24 hours a day. These trades will be executed the next business day.
